Another Cross :)
Below is another cross I just finished, although I don't personally think it's as pretty as the white one I posted earlier. I've been so busy with the Junior Serve coming up at my son's school that I haven't had much time to work on quilling, scherenschnitte, or learning my way around this new blog. Hopefully, when the Junior Serve is over on Saturday I'll be able to step it up a pace or two on all three.
I'll have photos of the tables I'm decorating later this weekend.

Quilled Cross
Here is a quilled cross that I recently completed. Each of the tiny paper strips were rolled around a toothpick before being glued. I don't use a slotted tool for quilling as I find it awkward to use.

Metal "Paper Doll"
An embossed metal "paper doll" I made from soft aluminum. I guess she couldn't technically be considered a paper doll if she's made from metal. She wasn't overly difficult to make. She can be framed or used in scrapbooking.

Paper Filigree
These are some of the paper filligre, or quilled, projects that I've recently completed for my little Etsy shop. It's surprising how sturdy and durable paper can be. I've just recently started quilling and love it! Once I get comfortable/figure out how to work with "blogspot", I'm hoping to do some tutorial and post some quilling and scherenschnitte patterns to share.
